USTA Mixed Doubles
USTA Mixed Doubles League pairs up men and women as partners. The total rating of partners must be under the mixed flight. For example, if you are playing 7.0 mixed, you can pair two 3.5’s (3.5 + 3.5 = 7.0) or a 3.0 and 4.0 (3.0 + 4.0 = 7.0).
Two partners may not have more than 1 NTRP point difference in their ratings, for example, a 3.0 and 5.0 playing together would be an illegal combination for the 8.0 flight.
Mixed doubles has no effect on your NTRP rating unless it is the only USTA league you play, in which case you’ll be given a mixed-only NTRP rating.
