Community Involvement

Remaining true to the CVTA’s mission of promoting tennis, the CVTA donates funds to various local projects that either promote tennis or benefit the tennis community.  Below is a list of programs the CVTA has had financial involvement in.

2015

  • Subsidized Tennis 101 classes to encourage more people to play tennis
  • Purchased TV for Rome Tennis Center
  • Purchased WebCam for Rome Tennis Center
  • Donated funds to the Foundation Camp
  • Provided volunteer & financial support to Clocktower Classic Wheelchair Tennis Tournament

2014

  • Subsidized Tennis 101 classes
  • Funded relocation of check-in at the Rome Tennis Center
  • Bought new scoreboards for all courts at the Rome Tennis Center, Etowah Park and Alto Park
  • Replaced broken on-court benches
  • Donated funds to the Foundation Camp
  • Provided volunteer & financial support to Clocktower Classic Wheelchair Tennis Tournament

2013

  • Subsidized Tennis 101 classes
  • Purchased ice machine for the Rome Tennis Center
